We're in.

May 6, 2006 by

Admittedly not yet with proper internet (how does anyone manage on dial up????) and admittedly we’re ignoring quite a lot of boxes, but we have furniture, clothes and essentials. And we have space, far more of it than i thought we’d have. Which may possibly be some kind of universal justice for the amount of time i spent convinced it was too small 😕 Oh well…

So all in all, it looks good. The other house is cleared, apart from some kitchen stuff and actually reasonably clean, or will be when i’ve been round and washed windows and paintwork and touched up the magnolia tomorrow. Think the garden might take most of the day though, fitted in around ballet exams for dd1&2. The estate seems lovely, absolutely crammed with people owning 4-8 year olds, which bodes well. Lots of people have popped by to say hello and so far it seems to be a bit like an episode of Brookside, with a story for every household!

Life is on the up i hope. Feels like it anyway.

Your post gave me a real heart-warming feeling. It all sounds so great Merry, wonderfully positive, I’m so pleased for you. Your happiness is fully deserved. I long to live in a place like that, with kiddies around. I envy Sarah for living in her road, my kids would love to be able to pop to their neighbours to play etc. There isn’t anyone around here under the age of 60 or so it seems…

I wish you many years of happiness in your very own place. Perfect 😀

Merry, you’re still the diva. I haven’t read your blog since you ‘hibernated’, but in reading it now…and without going all mystic meg..it sounds like there have been some major energy shifts. I know this is corny, but: you go girl. I hope this will be a wonderful summer for you and your family.

Sounds lovely, Merry. And it sounds like you feel really good about it, really optimistic about it, and that’s even better 🙂

Glad you are in, hope you get properly internetted soon – dial up can be really frustrating to use.
And a question – did you get my email about 10 days ago about the marquees for Kessingland? – I know you are probably far too busy to think about it right now, just wanted to check if it arrived.
