Oh brother, if i had to go back and start again from scratch, i’d order them all with ringlets. But if i did, i’d be lost. I can win an argument with a straighthaired one, but these ringlets are going to be my undoing 🙂

A Grade Student banned from Dance I honestly can’t even bring myself to rant about this. But having grown up in a school that treated it’s pupils much like this, i think it is fair to say that they won’t have increased her inclination to work hard for them. Teachers on crazed power trips; how […]

With the unerring poetic justice, i spent my second April 11th (see how good i am at this anniversary thing 🙁 ) in a row sitting on the floor of my kitchen sobbing incoherently down the phone at a friend. Fortunately this time i had nothing more to cry about than the fact that a) […]

Last year i spent Easter weekend either laughing hysterically or sobbing uncontrollably. This year i was either having a very nice time, or a very painful time. Typical. The tonsils have bitten back – and i’m out of codeine and dispersible voltarol and what i’ve got just isn’t cutting the mustard. How can swallowing hurt so much? Really? How?

Every year for the last 15 years, i’ve paused on April 6th to remember a friend who died aged just 17, on that day along with his 3 friends. I was very sad about his death for a long time, made harder by being very close to his family in the year after that. It […]

I am SO impressed by this. I asked Maddy to make me some unusual princess designs with hama beads and this is what she came up with. It’s really good, but was impressed me wasn’t so much the pattern, nice as it is, but the fact that she did it, completely from her own head, […]
