Despite cake, wine and weekend away – i managed 3lbs off in my second week. It was actually off for most of the week too (i did a few sneaky checks) so i am really proud of myself. That is 1/2 a stone since Xmas eve. 🙂 Should have done this ages ago 🙄
And the rest of the stuff
Maddy is very concerned about numbers at the moment “why do numbers just go on and on?” she asks everyone she meets. Clearly “because you can always add on 1” is not cutting the mustard. 🙄 She’s been asking all sorts of strange things this weekend, some quite good stuff, though i can’t rememeber it, […]
The Ever-Ready Rescue Machine.
There are certain things that are valuable beyond compare. These are things which stand the test of time, that are always there, that never falter. Honest, upright and true, the mark of a good friend, the mark of a friend who does not fail, even when times are difficult, even when you are not at […]

Another birthday done and dusted.

Am now…

At Tam and Sammy's
We have terrible trouble with their names!!!!! 😉 In accordance with resolutions, we added science into the year 🙂 Or more precisely, Tammy did. She set up a series of impressive experiments on air, which i’ll go back and blog properly later, but right now i have about a billion bits of paper on my […]
Worthy of note.
A School Bullying Policy Wherever possible we will use the “No Blame” Approach Step one: Interview the victim and explain what will happen. Ask for a poem/writing/picture that can explain their feelings; This should be within a day, if possible. Ask for names of supportive friends. Step two: Convene a meeting of the Helpful group […]
