Christmas Cheer with Frugi & the #giftofgiving

December 2, 2015 by

We were recently gifted a gorgeous top from Frugi by the lovely Jennie Edspire recently. Jennie and I have a good reason for being in each others thoughts at this time of year, with both of us bringing up our rainbow babies (and older children) while missing the baby we will never hold. Being nominated for Bene to receive a gift from Jennie is exactly what the #giftofgiving should be about – lifting someone’s heart by letting them know you care about them. So thank you Jennie; I care just as much back xxx <3

It’s his favourite ‘go to nursery and keep my hood up in defence’ top, perfect for car journeys (not puffy, so not dangerous) and goes well with everything else he wears. It’s been perfect for cool days and needing something warm indoors days and he’s loved the little nod to Christmas on the front – what could be better for a vehicle obsessed boy than a truck AND a Christmas tree!?

Frugi clothes are suited to age 0-10, plus a range of fashion essentials for mums such as breastfeeding wear and gifts too. Bene’s top is 100% organic brushed cotton with a fleecy lined hood that is definitely a favourite part of it for him.

I did get warned that Frugi clothes come up quite big, so ordered at the age 4 for Bene, since he almost is (I know! How idd that happen???) but I’ve not realised he’s a very TALL nearly 4 and I’m considering buying another for next Autumn. I can however confirm that it stands up very well to a hottish wash with Vanish if a small boy happens to drop buttery bagel down it 🙄

Sadly, today Bene is not really feeling the Xmas love thanks to a very late night away from home on our annual home educating Christmas Camp so I’ve not managed to get a particularly good photo of Mr Grumpy in his lovely top. Maybe things will improve later!

I'd call this an outtake from my #giftofgiving 'photo shoot' but so far, this is the best one I have got!

Emma at Me, the Man and the Kids seems to have had a bit more luck photographing a happy girl in her beautiful Daphne dress, so pop over there to see. There are links from each blog to see the #frugifamily giving in action.

We were gifted the top by Frugi on behalf of Edspire. Thank you so much to both.
