Halloween day time was spent in Cambridge this year waiting for Max to have his eyes lasered, a suitably (in my head) gruesome activity for Halloween. We had a very nice day there in fact, and did various things I want to blog as they were great, but I can just give you a taster with a nice scary Halloweenish picture 😉
I had huge guilt at all the Halloween displays because I knew I had totally failed to blog a gorgeous Build a Bear Halloween bear who arrived a bit too close to Halloween to actually get organised given all the billions of other things that happened at the same time. He was VERY lovely, soft, snuggly, sweet and with a nose to die for.
So to make up for it, I thought I would tell you about their Children in Need campaign bear instead 🙂
We went back to Cambridge the next day for Max to have his vision tested (20/20 which is rather impressive quite frankly) and diverted to the Apple store and Build a Bear at the same time.
The manager kindly let us take a picture of Amelie with one of the larger bears and here follows some cute pictures 😉 I think this bear is £15 with £5 going to charity and £1 from each outfit sale.
This year there are also the SmallFry bears; I saw these and I think they were £5 each with £1 going to the Children in Need charity.
Josie having had a birthday yesterday and with money burning a hole in her pocket, I think we’ll be taking a trip back tomorrow (another eye test) and purchasing a bear. I was quite surprised to find they were more affordable than I expected to be honest; in my head they were very expensive but I saw some really cute bears from £11 and I think I might be nearly as excited as Josie!
