Klimt's The Kiss.

May 21, 2012 by

Let’s move on to something a little nicer. Remember we were looking at this?

Over Friday and the weekend we thought we would have a go at a representation of this picture in…. Hama beads!

And here is the finished article.

Rather a good piece of collaborative art we thought 🙂

What I loved about doing it was it made us all really look at the elements of the painting. I don’t think any of us will forget it any time soon 😆

Today we’ve done normals and sewing and some baby love.

Isn’t this little 16 weeker a cutie?

Gorgeous, isn’t he 🙂

Impressed you can have girls who can concentrate for long enough to do this.

    Very cute baby pic.

Hello lovely, I dont think I have left a comment before, but I have been deeply upset that you and Jeanette have had such a hard time this week. Anyway, you are moving on from it, so good for you. I just wanted to add my tuppence worth of what a total (insert your own expletive here)..
Oh yes and speaking as a mama who did the nit dance with my older two all the way through infants, you have my sympathies. lol

That picture is amazing. I love that it’s an interpretation and not a copy. (Art I Heart will be up again on Friday if you want to join the linky). And yes 16 weeks is gorgeous.
