Here follows a post which proves I will always be a family blogger before a nice organised mummy blogger or crafting blogger – or even a business blogger. I always end up doing crafty blogs in real time so people can come and look at them a year later 😆
Last week, a collection of pom pom makers arrived from ClothKits; the girls fell on them and immediately declared they made pom poms SO easy and I had to do a REALLY good review of them.
Ahem.
I actually bought these. And the wool – and the foam and pipecleaners and tacky glue. This is not a sponsored post! 😉
Here follows a collection of Halloween pom pom characters, all made by the girls using cheapy wool from our local nearly pound shop. The pom pom makers are completely excellent, a very cleverly thought out gadget. They twist apart, so you wind around curved ‘legs’ rather than having to poke wool through the centre. makes it much easier and faster for little ones.
We also did window art, using our fantastic gel pens – they work very well on glass and made nice spooky pictures in the evening.
This was the first year the girls planned and carved the pumpkin themselves. They did a great job I think 🙂

I think they are fabulous pom-pom monsters! And those gel pens look brilliant!

They are completely fantastic. We do loads of art with them. Equally good on card, windows and paper.

I was deeply relieved not to have to do it this year – I’m rubbish!
