Hope whispered.

March 8, 2011 by

A few weeks ago I was lucky enough to win this beautiful bookmark from SkyBlueSea thanks to a give away on Sleep is for the Weak. I got to customise it, choosing a star for Freddie and and M for myself and Suzanne found this wonderful quote for me, which just epitomises how life needs to be here at the moment.
Hope Whispered
I loved Suzanne’s Etsy shop and also bought a lovely print from her. Both items arrived gorgeously wrapped and as if for a gift and gave me a real lift. Thank you 🙂
Totems

I don’t think of myself as someone who makes shrines, but I guess this little collection of things is going that way. It’s the spot on the windowsill where Freddie’s memory box went when we first came home. I buy him a present every so often. Yes, it’s all blue stuff. And yep, that is still a Christmas tree 🙄

What a beautiful gift and message. I love the way it’s been personalised just for you.

Beautiful!! You made me click an etsy link though lol – I’ve banned myself from clicking etsy links – gorgeous things in that shop though!

How lovely! I clicked the link too, and I’m in love with that store!
Freddie’s things look beautiful. I didn’t think I was a shrine maker either, but I appear to have two in this house. x

That really resonates well with me. I named a baby I lost Hope and so that quote is really touching and so true. It wasn’t quite the same situation as you losing Freddie and I wouldn’t ever compare the two, but shrines are good for the good days and the bad and I think your little Freddie windowsill is gorgeous! x

Beautiful.. I was thinking the other day about what to do about the little white tree I still have up for Cullen… I just can’t bring myself to take it down.

I love that quote … my little girl’s middle name is Hope 🙂

I have also turned into a shrine keeper and have two in my house. Although we took down the Christmas tree I kept out the Micah ornaments and have hung them around shrine number 2. The gifts and the quote are so lovely, just beautiful.
