Just how pretty is this?

January 16, 2011 by

PoP, thanks to the very lovely JeniWren, has had along overdue make-over. I absolutely love it, though I’ve got to spend a little bit of time tidying up the sidebars and deciding what I want to keep and what I want to trim.

Let me know what you think – I’m delighted with it. I think it reflects exactly my mood at the moment, a little bit newly subdued, not quite ready to cast off the past, but needing a slightly different face for the future. And Jeni caught my mood, perfectly 🙂

I wanted something that was filled with acknowledgements of what we should be and are. I’m not ready to walk away from that – but tried to make sure it also reflected lots of good and positive things about what we do have too. It’s a bit special, I think.

KnottedFingers, I’m not sure why the blog keeps moderating you, it seems to andomly pick on people (Caroine and SallyM being two others) – not personal, I promise!

Rachael, i actually sent Jeni along to your for an idea of what I liked – I was really taken with your boxes.

I’m glad you like the boxes; I really needed to acknowledge Freddie as equal in our family count. I loved the chick we put on initially and have kept it for various things, but given how much this blog is about grief now and his place in who we are, it felt right to give a box right up with the rest of us.
