Day of Reckoning

October 30, 2010 by

I sincerely hope, when the day comes when someone asks my daughters what they most remember about me, they will remember the mummy who made cloaks for them more than they remember the ‘in a minute’ mummy who was often working and often crying.

Morgana & Dracula

So this was my creativity today; not only making two cloaks from patterns in my head and on the fly, but making my girls happy by making sure they all got costumed up in the way they wanted.

Josie actually ended up going out in a different £1.50 one from QD – and looks even cuter than in this picture.

Were we meant to be trick or treating tonight because it’s Saturday? or did they go to a party? (whichever way they look great – well done – I couldn’t do that if I tried!)

Max has taken them to a party tonight (I cried off, it will be full of small people and make me cry) – T or T tomorrow 🙂

Thank you. I’m not 100% happy with the hood on Fran’s, it was a bit botched, but I made it up as I went along, so not bad.

I truly believe that is what they’ll remember. They look great 🙂
