Update on Freddie

April 11, 2010 by

Sorry not to have done it sooner. We’ve had a rollercoaster week; i stayed in hospital for most of it until that was really no longer good for me, while Max has dotted between me and Freddie, the girls, the business and general life. My mum, dad, sister and Max’s aunt have been caring for the girls and they did a musical theatre week, gym and tkd as normal. They have had such a tough week but have been amazing.

Freddie had a long week being kept safely under with drugs to keep him calm and relaxed. A gradual withdrawal seems to be showing some encouraging signs and he has been awake, made some sounds and tried to suck my finger in the last 24 hours. The short term is still uncertain, the long term far more so but we are taking it a day at a time. And i am one handed, XAK – expressing at keyboard!

So here at least, at this moment in time, is the 7 of us.

Hello. I’ve been away and knew you would have a baby by the time I got back.

Not fully understanding the complications you are having, but hoping they pass quickly and easily so you can all get on with being a family of seven. SEVEN.
