Lots of easy crafts this week.
#5We’ve done Shrinkies already but here are pictures of the finished articles.
#6Then we moved on to colouring in Stained Glass windows, with some debate about where to hang them for best effect and what pens were going to work best and why. Some discussion on colour densities, light, seasons and why Amelie needs to be shut away for her own protection after colouring streaks of poo in behind a ski-ing penguin 🙄 😆
#7 Was a fun and simple sequin sticking craft which proved very effective and looks lovely on the door of the lounge but did produce rather a lot of discussion on likely effects of placing sequin boxes near the edge of tables (repeatedly 🙄 ) as well as looking t the convex/concave element of them, why sticking certain ways up worked better, why putting felting fluff on top of them was a bad idea (sigh) and what else sequins get used for.
#3 On Tuesday we had Skye and Poppy over for the day and did felting with them again. They produced fab results and inspired me to try a (not quite finished) Santa and Maddy did a fantastic Christingle orange which i think is beautiful!
There is still loads on the list to do – must get on with it!!!

‘GIGGLE’ Love this….its a very creative use of her imagination… obviously!
Maddy’s Christingle orange is beautiful – this has reminded me to pick up some real oranges today to make our own for the Christingle service tonight at our local church – the best service of the year in my opinon – always brings a tear to my eye 🙂

Its reminded me to stuff some cloves in oranges as I love that smell and it masks dog/mice smells with something Christmassy 🙂

Yeah, going out tonight for cloves and oranges – next week we need to do a bit more traditional stuff instead of the boil in the bag baker ross stuff!

Aren’t you going to post a picture of Amelie’s penguin then? 😉
Michelle says
Yeah. I want to see Amelie’s penguin too!
You did better at sequin art than we did. “Sequin Art. So Easy! So Fun!” transpired to be a slight overstatement in our experience.
