Actually not at all; more thread-filled. But a slightly different day. The big girls mostly worked on Art History, Maddy continuing to read and write about Vincent Van Gogh and Fran making a start on Claude Monet. Both enjoying researching on their own and sharing what they found out and structuring a project. Spent more time helping Maddy with computing skills but persistent working away at spelling and writing (mostly still computer based) seems to be helping to overcome her anxieties about this, which is a relief.
Some threads arrived, some of which were variegated ones and Fran thought they would be great as a Monet picture so she used some Aida and began practising smaller cross-stitch very diligently. If she is keen next week, i’ll help her plan something out with them.
Little 2 were heavily into train games after some reading, maths and computer work and were left to it as they were delighting in each others company. We all popped into the gym briefly and they had a run about there.
Home for late lunch and a relax and then more Tom’s Midnight Garden. Then ot to get Fran to gym and the others to Brownies. Back late. Yawn.
