It's the new green darling…

We had our hallways painted this week, a luxury that 2 people scared of heights can view as a necessity; besides, if not, we wouldn’t have got it done, hall, stairs and landing painting with 4 kids in situ would not work! So the papa of some local HE kids did it for us – and a lovely job it was too 🙂

He chose the cream for us after we had been through tester pots full of yellows, beiges, fauns and washed stones…. and Max chose the green because i bottled out once i’d seen it on the wall. Well, to start with, Kate chose it. So basically i avoided any further input and left the style bit to people who know what they are doing!!!!!!

And i love it 🙂 I now feel like i have a proper bit of decorated, finished house, we agreed on COLOUR (!) after Max initially saying he wanted to keep the magnolia for ever and we both love the result.

The picture was painted by BN of Brushfires my future BIL and his 4 portraits of the girls (to be photographed and hopefully then framed this weekend) are going to go on the other green wall, which is at the top of the stair well, under the skylight.

Very pleased with it – and loving having a good place to show off family, precious, artwork.

That is a lovely green and I’m immensely impressed at the vase, that would have been broken after 3 seconds flat in our house LOL!

That is so lovely – very similar to our bedroom green. Have you abandoned the concept of footwear.

They have been banned totally. Footwear was getting too expensive anyway!
