Good stuff

October 30, 2007 by

Max played school teacher this morning and had them all mathsing and doing dictation while i parcelled as MF doesn’t do tuesdays. It was funny 😆

I got lots done.

Then, this afternoon, we all went out to Burghley House and spent the afternoon in the Sculpture Gardens, really lovely and peaceful. Gorgeous weather, lots new to look at since we last went. Everyone played and ran and admired things; we particularly enjoyed the hexagonal shed you can sit in which is a room sized pinhole camera. It was fabulous.

Home for dancing and the girls got their grade 1 results; on the day, Maddy nearly missed it after she managed to leave her new shoes, bought the day before and sewn together that morning, on the dining room table. 🙄 However, the other girl in their 3 had also forgotten hers, which meant Fran was going to have to dance alone, so the teacher managed to borrow some for Maddy and the two of them did the exam together. So considering all that, i think getting two “highly commended” (Fran got 82 and Maddy got 80) was really good. Very proud of them.

Battling with VAT returns tonight and trying to get the strockroom more organised; having thoguht things were gonig to get easier, it looks like i am going to lose MF, which is an utter pain in the arse. Not sure what i will do. Sob. At least Max will be here for now, but after that, i have no idea.

ugh.. God.. it never ends does it?!

I have felt like this at work for the last 3 years.. every time you get sorted, somebody goes and leaves and then you have to start all over again… training and teaching and stressing and doing everything yourself again…
But.. you will sort it! Think positive!! 🙂
