The tonsils have bitten back – and i’m out of codeine and dispersible voltarol and what i’ve got just isn’t cutting the mustard. How can swallowing hurt so much? Really? How?

Hannah just seen ent to discuss tonsillectomy. We were quite keen not to put her through any more, and she suggested 6 months on low dose ABs, as she thought the problem was that the abcess was never quite being dealt with by the shorter doses. So far, so good.

Greer, mainly because it is a horrid operation that means i need someone here for 2 solid weeks in case i haemorrage (sp?); the upshot of that being that i’m scared witless by the idea and can’t manage to make time in my schedule 😕
Joyce, that is good to hear; i’ve got a feeling this has been triggered by an ulcer where i’ve got a wisdom tooth coming through and i’m certain that the previous long runs of it were because it never properly went so i shall go to my doc and ask for him to prescribe what Hannah has. Good to hear she is doing well.
