I am SO impressed by this. I asked Maddy to make me some unusual princess designs with hama beads and this is what she came up with. It’s really good, but was impressed me wasn’t so much the pattern, nice as it is, but the fact that she did it, completely from her own head, on this board.
There is just no way i would see something hiding in there like that. I couldn’t do it. She did a mermaid on the same board a while back and i couldn’t have done that either. I was just awestruck by her creativity 🙂
Forget education; i’ve just put her on the BM payroll. She’s now chief designer 🙂

Very impressive! Have you tried her on sculpture or carving – the ‘finding something that’s hidden’ skill would be useful there too.
