Seen those before – very odd aren’t they? Could be handy for triplet/quad parents though!

    LOL @ those 😉

Right……. or you could just wedge em up against a rolled up cot blanket for a couple of quid then?

Awww, cute. I think they look really useful.

    PMSL Allie!

I can see why a small soft sausage-y shaped cushion might be useful, but I think the hand shape is just WAY too weird. Although at least they’re not called Handy Handies or something horribly cutesy, they have that in their favour.

Oh and I read “gin” for “grin” at first glance! Maybe I was right though…..

I think they look rather sinister. Imagine the possible scenario if the baby becomes attached to those as a ‘special’ object – like a muslin or a teddy – and then insists on taking them everywhere for the next seven years… “Aaah, are those your special disembodied hands? How cute…”

Actually Claire, i think you should stock them 😉

I think they are freaky; they’d give me nightmares! Too Adams Family 😆

Giggle – oh what a thought!

Oh FFS. Or here’s a novel thought – keep the baby with you when it’s tiny?

Admittedly, if it did start out as a therapeutic tool for infants in NICU, then perhaps it’s not completely insane, but marketed to parents of full-term infants it’s as stupid as teddy bears with recordings of mum’s heartbeat.

Too creepy for me. It would make me jump seeing them lying around too.

I also don’t like those head hair things you can get for kids to practise make up and hair styles on.

Not keen on disembodied bits, even if they’re not real, at all.

More useful would be spring loaded ones. fix them to the wall and stick little’un in there when they are getting in the way 🙂

Violet’s got one of those heads, and you press a button and a clump of hair on top of her head grows and retracts. Makes me laugh every time, it’s so ridiculous.

Can just imagine the other kids getting hold of them and planting them all over the house, lol! I’ve been given enough frights by dolls, random hands would be too much 🙂

    rofl at Allie and Daddybean..

I have seen these before and I think they were designed by a woman whose baby (Zak maybe..) was in SCBU…

But still …. I find them funny rather than creepy… made me laugh to think of adams family type disembodied hands crawling round after Ella… 🙂

    tee hee 😆

BN said it would be good if they were remote control.. Rowan would wet herself.. she already thinks that daddy’s hand can turn into the tickle monster at a moment’s notice (all with a mind of its own!! A remote control tickle monster would just be way too funny!!)

    ahhh…. baileys…
