A Nokia N73 – i’ve no idea if it will be any good but it was free and it’s pretty. Doesn’t have sat nav, but appears to be able to ding and dance in a manner to rival Michael Flatley. I managed to figure out Bluetooth long enough to swap my numbers across, which may well be the only time i ever use that particular feature but i won’t hold my breath about ever worknig out how to remove photos from it and get them anywhere else.
We’ll see. Max is happy with my old one, bless him, as in fact the new contract was essentially for him but was going to need a deposit for international use, which he is going to be needing soonish. So i get the new one, with the swanky number and he gets the old one. (And yes i did tell him that he could in fact have the new phone with the older number but he let me have the pretty thing).
Hopefully people will soon get texts from me to tell them my new number.
Currently though, it seems a little confused. For the last little while it has been cheerfully telling me it is connected to a G3 (or is it 3G) network but connected to O2. But it won’t do anything. Now, i know O2 isn’t 3G (or G3) and i’m on an O2 contract.. so why on earth has it got itself so confused????

isn’t 3G just the fact that you can do video phoning…? I better get your new number or I will be very cross..
also … it’s more than a little annoying when people change their numbers when I’ve learnt them!
Bah!

Hm… i sent it to you – but it took against half the people and i can’t remember who!
Greer says
3 is a network… I’m pretty sure that 3G means you can do video phoning..
I’m going to have to go and look it up now..
I tagged you btw. You have to do my meme because I started it!!
HelenHaricot says
hmm, and I was just about to text you – need to locate phone though!
HelenHaricot says

Sarah says
yep, 3G is the sort of phone, cos I’ve got a 3G one on Orange. Didn’t get a text from you though, or maybe I did, who knows where my phone is!
Claire says
I haven’t had your new number yet!
Tim says
Have you thought about one of these?
Greer says
you’re really not popular in Africa huh? 😉
