You see…

February 9, 2007 by

6ft of snow. Feel free to make a fuss. That’s a LOT of snow.

I liked the BBC news little irreverent weekly round up about yesterdays coverage. he summed up with “we are a small island, just sound of the artic circle, with the atlantic to one side of us. It’s February. It snows. Get over it.”

I liked his style 🙂

PS – i now have floam and bionic putty in my shop. the odds are against there being any left to sell; i’ve had to put it on the top shelf 🙄 😆

Floam! it’s fun you can feel! 🙂

Had a quick peep at BM last night to show Ady the traffic hama signs and was all shocked at what a wide range you are stocking. Bloody well done you 🙂

ROFL at having to put it high up!

We had nearly 2″ of snow today! Deeply exciting you know!

The coverage on Radio 4 was much more sensible. Though surely it’s the Atlantic which means that actually we don’t really get that much snow for our latitude – hence the news value?

Nope not looking at BM – and will force you to lock your stock room before we visit 🙂

Still no snow in Devon … 🙁

Not that I want 6 feet of it you understand but 6 inches of it would be nice for the children to play in. 😉

Well perhaps you could send a little pep talk to all those people who lost power yesterday because of snow bringing power cables down. Or those who had to abandon their cars in the snow. I am sure they would appreciate being told ‘it’s february. get over it’ 😉

I think he was talking to the news too 🙂

I’ve not got issues with people having genuine difficulties… but then, i suspect you know that anyway 😉

    Six feet, huh? Ah, *shrug*

You can’t scare us Canadians 😉
