Home again, home again…

February 5, 2007 by

So, we made it back in time for the rehearsals… i am no longer bad dancing mummy.

Today Max was off but Emma the student was here; she did fantastically and kept the kids occupied with stories (Something to tell the Grandcows and While the bear Sleeps) EC work and then about 3 hours of table work using Antarctic pics i printed and sorting out a mini project with the big 3. Fran has never written so much i don’t think!

I pottered… more later… cuddled madison when she came to visit and then went out shopping for presents for Maddy tomorrow. Wail… nearly 7!!!!!!

And now, i have work to do, possibly a second employee, presents to wrap, paperwork to sort and more.

Weaning… is it normal for them to suddenly seem to forget how to latch on?????

I did read somewhere (I think it was from a television programme about LT breastfeeding) that you lose the ability to suck so she may find it harder to latch on as she gets older.

I’m not always sure that kids who are LT breast fed are always BF-ing as I think the breast becomes a comfort to suck whether it dispenses milk or not. Bit like a thumb really. But not as convenient.

In Cambridge there is the Polar Institute. I might see about a visit. I think Meredith Hooper (Ponko and the South Pole book) is a fellow there.

Maddy’s birthday tomorrow! I hadn’t turned to Feb in the Birthday Book! Wish her many happy returns from all of us. xxx

You know her personality is fixed now don’t you?

Maddy’s personality was fixed at birth. I’ve completely failed to modify her 😉
