Actually, we’ve also listened to some Narnia, Fran has learned to divide, Maddy has carried on with loads of reading, writing and maths, Amelie has done mental maths with me, Josie has perfectly the full length strop and the sentence “Stoppit; i not want it bed!” the house is clean and tidy (thanks to Lucy), the parcels and office are up to date and all is generally well really.

On the subject of Narnia we just finished watching the film for the first time. Now dh and Bella have 1001 questions about how the wardrobe came to be. I can’t remember a thing, going to have to dig out the books.
The models look great 🙂 I remember making Fimo jewellery when I was a teenager. Might just have to invest in some – purely for the children, obviously 😉
IIRC the wardrobe was made from the tree which grew when the apple from the Tree of Life (or something like that) that Digory brought back from Narnia to give to his mother was buried in the garden…

Got a story tape from ebay of the railway children, abridged, and she has enjoyed that.SO might work our way through E nesbitt to start with, and maybe do the little house on the prairie too [need a differnt continent to concentrate on after romaning out!]

Whoa – those are seriously impressive! Did you varnish them as Charlie’s baked models are shiny like that. We need a master class too please. Charlie’s models aren’t as impressive as those as they were just done freehand but do you want photos for gallery?
I saw those on Flickr yesterday. Wow – did your lot do them? I thought they were promotional images. VERY impressed. And yes you ARE expensive, bit SO worth it. 😉

do you or can you stock the stuff to soften traditional fimo? I’ve got an old pack of the stuff from ages ago, but its rock hard. I’m sure you can get some liquid to re-soften it with…
You can get stuff called quick mix, which is like a block of translucent fimo soft really i think. I iddin’t get it this time, because i’ve bnot got classic in yet, but i will be doing.
