We are, however, in our weakened state, about to do my passport application 🙄

    Omigod Merry, you’re not going to attempt to leave the country??? You fool!!!!! 😉 Assume you did it online – hopefully the version they post back to you will be fine, but it would be funny if it were very obviously filled in by someone in a “weakened” state :lol

    Don’t be ridiculous – of course not! I just want it to be a) in my married name 🙄 b) not out of date c) not containing my iris print and d) cheaper than if i apply after the 5th October 😉

    Oh, and i fell at a fairly early hurdle, as i couldn’t work out whether to apply for an upgrade or a name change. Was all very technical. Actually, we stared at one page for about 10 minutes looking for the “Next” button.
