Better

September 5, 2006 by

This morning the parcels got done early (thanks to a calmer few days which is of course both a blessing and an argh moment all in one!), the house is tolerable and ready for the impending visitation by the HEMUKs and the children have done some work.

This has consisted of –

Fran doing lots of EC English Year 3 stuff on nouns verbs and adjectives because she wants to go up to Year 4 and i’m buggered if she’s moving till i’ve got my moneys worth so i’m making her do it all – NOW – some MPH on 1000’s addition where she got 100% (good girl) and some EC French.

Maddy has done some EC Maths Year 2, some reading, some Illustration Friday drawing (i MUST start blogging those), tidied her cupboard (i’m a rather Maddyish fashion!) and had a bath.

Amelie has done Tap-a-Shape, some computing and watched Magic Roundabout (must try harder) and made a shop.

Josie has refused to wear a nappy and terrorised people.

Can’t believe that Amelie could be starting school tomorrow. I could just have Josie at home, and that for only 8 months cos then she could go to playgroup. I must be completely mental.

Handed more work over to Lucy and discovered that the only way to get more hours in your day is to pay someone else to do them for you. I’m more organised already.
