Circuits.

May 20, 2006 by

We’ve spent today going round in circles. 😆 Started off with a complicated trip out to get a blue and pink ds; failed to get a blue one (been discontinued) but got the pink. It is Fran’s birthday present for Tuesday but she got it today and has been bringing up a puppy all afternoon. Then i took Amelie to buy some GBA games with her birthday money, Dora and Spyro.

This afternoon we brought out more boxes from the garage and put other odds and sods back in. I watched the people camping out the back put up tents in wind and rain and tried to summon enthusiasm for MP camp 😕

Then Max got into electricity with the big two and they were out in the garage for hours making circuits with bits of old torch (ordered a kit but it didn’t arrive in time) – it seemed to go down very well and both of them came in buzzing from it. Maddy promptly proved her understanding by doing the electricity games on EC, before retiring to more dual monkey ball on the DS’s. Hurrah for Max; he is taking over science which i love him for as it bores me to even consider it.

Josie impressed me lots by singing happy birthday and learning the name of Fran’s puppy, Lucy and saying it A LOT. LOUDLY.

Eurovision time now – what was with the piano? I’m voting for the Germans.

science scares me rather than bores me as I’m horribly aware of very large gaps in my knowledge. Can you get Max to write up or at least photograph what he does for mp?

Sympathise with the hunt for a blue DS, thats what I wanted but ended up with a silver one (only to find a blue one in the next shop we went into, Grrrrr!)

WRT Eurovision, my boys are getting excited that UK is actually getting some votes, lol!

Circuits are fun. We ahve kit which Sb has enjoyed, but I think we need to fiddle with wire, bulbs etc. as well.

“it seemed to go down very well and both of them came in buzzing from it.”

maybe Max should have disconnected them from the batteries first then….

Hope the bikers aren’t bothering you, am reliably informed that BMF are a nice bunch 🙂
