Well there had to be something that wasn’t perfect and I guess you just found it! I have to say we had the same problem as Jax when we moved into a new build, wasn’t on any databases so we didn’t exist! Good luck sorting it out.
Our house has stood here for 200 years, but within 2 months of us moving in they changed every line of the address except Meltham, and they changed the postcode twice.

Cor, how exotic. You can tell people all your addresses and they will think you own three houses and have a dashing James Bond type life with skiing holidays at the weekends and you drive everywhere with one of your many vehicles – which are untaxed because the DVLA will never find out where you live. Sorted.

Heh – I’ve a friend who lives on the road which was paraded up by ancient kings on their way to be crowned on the local hilltop – just a couple of millennia ago. And the post office says it doesn’t exist! LOL

I know someone who has lived in a new build for 3 years and no one will take responsibility for the gas supply so they get it free!!!
