That sounds like a bad noise….

April 9, 2006 by

And it was.

Our kitchen radiator burst 🙁 Cue lots of extremely dirty water, several significantly wrecked towels and no apparent way of actually stopping the damn thing spraying very hot, disgusting water everywhere. We tried turning off the valve, but that didn’t work and we were lying in bed and listening to gurgles, we had to turn the central heating off so it wouldn’t run dry and eventually we had to turn the mains off.

And now we can’t get hold of the plumber we are supposed to use and surprise! our agents have no emergency number on their site or answerphone.

Hurrumph. I guess the house is offended we’re leaving 🙁 These things never do happen mid week and mid day do they? Oh no, late on a Saturday night is the way to go!
