A picture out of better homes and gardens magasine…

February 9, 2006 by

Something to love about everyone.

Max went up and put away the washing.
I posted a letter to a government agency before they started threatening me.

Fran said “What i love about Josie is how she comes and tells you what has happened and even though she doesn’t tell you in words, you know what she means.”

And also, this evening we came home from Brownies and looked up at the stars, picking out Orion and the Plough. I said “I’d like to know more of the Constellations” and she replied “Well, we have a book inside you could use to learn about them.” “Oh yes,” i said, “You know, i think i’d like to be Home Educated” and she turned and looked at me and said, in all seriousness, “But you are.” 🙂

Maddy said “Can we read one more book and then have a cuddle and then read another one more book.

Amelie putting across the case for the shiny new pink Leapster very convincingly, despite it being exactly the same piece of equipment as her perfectly adequate blue one 🙂

Josie shouting “Dor-wa!” in the Dora aisle of TRU.

And, just going to tuck them in now; i do love the fact that Maddy always manages to look like she is sleeping about 2 inches below mattress level, somehow inexplicably more deeply in the bed than Fran, who sleeps on the same mattress. (And, i hasten to add, this is their choice, they do have a bed of their own each, but they insist on topping and tailing in the same one!)

That’s a lovely post! And it reminded me of a thing I have to send to a government agency too.
    Charming and practical!

    What a nice post 🙂 – I particularly like both of Fran’s comments 🙂
