Hi Merry, couldn’t help responding to your bit about the windowsill. Ours too is a typical HE sill but smells rather strange as we have been experimenting with growing crystals and have various solutions of vinegar with sugar, salt and a shop bought variety. Luckily they sit on the sill of the utility room (sunniest spot) and my jasmine has decided to bloom (for the first time ever) to take away alittle of the pong! Perhaps we’ll see you at Ferry Meadows soon? I keep meaning to introduce myself to you at Brownies!
