Replacement of a random post that got too many mental hits

January 29, 2006 by

I’ve been so hungry today, i could have eaten the house. Must have been catching; Fran has eaten a bag of apples, Maddy gorged on toast, we’ve had a huge roast for tea! Almost everyone had two portions of porridge for breakfast too… i don’t know. Mind you, Max went out for some new clothes and came home with my favourite trousers in a size 16 – and they fitted 🙂 So that inspired me plenty 🙂

Educational bits have included lots of a Narnia card game given to us yesterday between Fran and Maddy, after Fran played it with Abbie first thing. Fran and i also played the word game (watch this space!) – yesterday she impressed me no end by coming up with “solve” – today she has been doing pretty well with 4 letter words. It’s a good game, even if Sarah did beat me every time last night! Fran has also read more Rainbow Fairy books – after finishing “Saffron” on Friday night, she’s done two more today. She and i went out to do a few jobs and we talked lots about various things; advertising, how to find out what words mean, you know, this and that.

This afternoon they’ve vegged tiredly, i’ve caught up on stuff, Max cooked. Josie has been practising her new trick, which is to start stamping with rage if anyone offends her, then go over and hit them. It’s quite funny really 🙄 I don’t think our laughter amuses her though! We’re about to go and do more stories, i’ve updated the next week of the MP Reading List and i need to catch up or i’ll get behind!!
