Alarm goes off at 7….

January 20, 2006 by

… and i hadn’t had enough sleep, thanks to sudden onset molars from the Josie Division.

Ah well.

Other tooth news; Maddy’s brown teeth are not bad, just fluoride damaged/ damaged by illness during pregnancy. The thing is just an ulcer, and healing. She was brilliant at the dentists; leapt on the chair and behaved like a charming child in all ways. When we came out she said “He wasn’t like the dentist in Little Shop of Horrors, was he? He didn’t have all those things…” 😆

Got ready for MP group – loads of us there today; 24 paying kids, another 10 or so that were too little to pay, 3 new families and plenty to do on Healthy Eating. See Beans for photos!

Fran has played Paper Mario all day, after overhearing i was going to sell it due to it being too difficult. Its all reading based and she hasn’t had any help, so that covered literacy and puzzle solving, or something. They’ve both done maths and latterly played scarf ladies in the scarves Hannah donated. Thanks Hannah 🙂

Everyone including Josie has had a haircut so we all look very trim. Must tidy house. Josie seems to be strewing the house in absolutely everything she can get her hands on atm; i think its some sort of reverse scorched earth policy… “the more i leave in mummy’s way, the more time it will take her to wade through to what i’m doing now and maybe she’ll just get bored (or buried) while trying…” 🙄

V excited about BM – Hama sent me a leaflet with some pics of new lines on it today – 22 new things 🙂 Can’t wait to see them!

ooh, Paper Mario, I’d wondered about that – you recommend it then? I’m tired of Super Smash Bros (current fave here).

What sort of new hama things?!

So far it’s kits that i’ve seen and they look lovely.

You’ll see at the fair though!

Not actually watched the game – it seems to be a sort of fighty/puzzly/questy thing. Alison may have seen more of it, Violet borrowed it for a while.

Didn’t see enough of it to comment, but could ask 🙂 We just got Smash Football (by the possibly slightly drastic route of buying it with another gamecube as it doesn’t seem to be sold seperately, lol, though £50 and sell the old one on ebay didn’t seem too bad) and that’s going down well. And of course Mario Party 7 is out soon. E had to take Super Smash Bros with him, Fran pounced on it!

Mario Party 7?! That’s news to me, not sure I can cope with *another* one though!

And also, I am holding you responsible, Merry, for having had me singing ‘Down on Skid Row’ and other LSoH faves since I first saw this post!

Do you have Mario Dance? We bought M that for Christmas and it’s been great fun. A dance mat to dance your way through the game!!

Oooh, I didn’t know there was a kind of story to the Mario dance mat game – we’ve got an xbox dancemat/dancing game, and I’d just assumed it was like that, purely dancing – that’s quite tempting now!

There’s no way I’m buying MP7 though (the kids can buy it for themselves if they want), it just causes arguments in this house. Our copy of MP5 doesn’t work any more thankfully, because E bit it during one such argument!

btw Merry, how’s your throat? Have had two struck down by a mystery ailment here today – wonder if it’s the same as Josie’s?

Mine got better but Josie is definitely a bit something… what’s yours like?

Buttercup & E are hot and floppy, E also has a killer headache.

Mmm… does sound like it. Trying to think which of mine complained about a headache… Josie was moreorless a 24 hour thing though so hopefully better soon.

    Sorry about that 🙁
