Portico’s, Puddles and Beans today, all together on what has, i guess, been a fairly significant day in terms of the lives of friends elsewhere on the blogring. I’m glad they were all together today as i think hearing that good friends were returning to school threw them all for a bit of a loop (not that i want you to feel guilty or anything Sarah 🙂 ) Lots of questions and some sadness i think, lots of reassurance that changing circumstances won’t have to mean friends that fade. Certainly, for my part, i was glad that Fran and Maddy had the closeness of other people they care about to talk it over with, i know they’ll miss knowing the Clarkes are HE’d. Nicest of all was that they all seemed anxious to know they’d see them again; nicest for me, certainly, was that i didn’t hear any wistful sighing for school among my big three. PHEW!
So a public all the best to Sarah and co – i know we’ll still be in touch, but despite what i’ve expressed, i really hope it all goes well. I’ll be almost insatiably curious to know how it goes 🙂
Lots of Bean playing, lots more here of game-cube and so on. Amelie has melted today and struggled to keep a sense of any proportion at all. Maddy seems to have something awful on her gum; she needs to see someone tomorrow. We talked fenland geography on the way home, seasons and weather on the way over… goodness knows what since we got home. Alison did lots of Scrabble with them, more than my nerves could have stood anyway. 😆
Back to blogging anon 🙂
