Another birthday done and dusted.

January 11, 2006 by

And it’s been a very nice one thank you. 32 does seem to be quite acceptable.

Amelie continues to improve; i can’t put it down the the extra sleep now, she’s had some late nights, but she is so much less whingy, so much less in your face. Kate came and noticed straightaway. Today she has an outbreak of eczema behind her knees, i’m hoping it is some sort of “working its way through” thing. She looks so much better, the waif has disappeared in a week.

We’ve had an interesting maths morning with Fran, where the whole if 14/2=7 then 14/7=2 and 2*7=14 thing sunk in. That was fun, we ewnjoyed that. Nearly finished Maddy’s maths book, she read to me beautifully, Fran worked hard at some ETC. We tidied, we played, everyone computered a LOT!

After Auntie Kate had left (we divvied up Tammy’s cake.. .oh Tammy, it was so yum :)….) we had a brief spell of whatever and then Kris and co arrived. I have to say her girls have fitted right in and nicest of all, for me, is that Myf and Fran have fallen into one anothers arms. It is lovely to see her finding an instant pally relationship like that. Took a bloody age for all the giggling to knock off tonight, so i think we can safely say they aren’t struggling to get on. Loved hearing Piglet singing out to Josie to go to sleep 😆

Kris and i have given the impression of being online all night, but we’ve gossiped a-plenty, i can assure you and a very nice bottle of bubbly is aiding and abetting us 🙂

I have done another load of emailing but do have some issues it appears, which Jax is on to. Helen i have emailed, you’ll have to ping if you don’t get it! Looking forward to escaping Pboro for a while tomorrow, especially as we seem to have had yet another murder just round the corner 🙁

Ho hum – roll on the future 🙂 I’ll have my local murders somewhere less flat and windy please.

Yes please. This one appears to be both sexually and perhaps racially motivated, just down the road and even closer to most of our friends 🙁

LOL – thanks Katy! Actually, it’s lovely here, not a builder or a smudge of brick dust in sight. And the small ones are having an absolute ball.

Add to that Max’s cooking and I really don’t want to go home. 😉
