Resolution number 1… tick :)

January 3, 2006 by

I’m determined to add more art into this year, both theoretical and practical art, so we decided to start the month with getting out some paints and stuff, just to see where we are at. I wasn’t very organised, nor did we (Tammy and me) try to guide them particularly but it will be good to look back at the end of the year and see what changes. We’ve arranged to do a monthly meeting for art, and i hope to do more through the year as well. I’ve got more photos to take of what they painted, but i’ll add them later. We had a nice morning 🙂

Random Maddy project…

Oil pastel drawing. (Might work on the technique there!)

Maddy’s dolphin – she was playing with some foam dolphin shapes and sea shapes today, this is a pretty perfect representation of their shapes.

Sums up life here rather well somehow…

“Sum” maths… (we won’t dwell on what has been forgotten!)

And especially for Debbie… this is how creative my children are with wood 😉

Back later 🙂

They are a set of books you can get from Ichthus Resources – that one is the area, perimeter and volume one and worth every penny. It is called From here to There – the alphabet one is also good but i’m not so sure about the others, i have them but they requirem ore input from a “teacher” as it were.

Amelie looks far too much like Kezia in that picture! It’s a bit scary!

Have you got Sandra’s email address for Icthus Resources Merry? I did have it but have lost it. I have the ABC book but would like to get the area, perimeter and volume. Emma loves messing with the Rods 🙂
