Mr Blunt is speaking to me

November 28, 2005 by

I’ve learned all the lyrics, will someone do a duet with me?

This one, Tears and Rain, is my favourite, just at the moment. Every time i hear these words:

“Like Dorian Gray, I’ve heard what they say, but I’m not here for trouble “

i keep thinking i must get back to my Big Read – i’m sure Dorian Gray is on the list 😉

But that aside, nothing to report. Not a thing. Not one. I think we might be back on holiday.

It’s almost December, didn’t you know that is a national holiday for HEors?

ONly glittery sparkly crafty activities (oh, and cooking) allowed 😉

I was thinking Ammi might want to join me in my version of You had a bad day…

*Shudders* at recollection of the Nic/Layla 3 a.m. drunken duets…..

That line (the DG one) makes me cringe everytime I hear it, don’t know why, it just strikes me as really poor lyrics. Which is odd as there are some fine lyrics on the record overall.

Grin, yes, i’m not sure it’s his best. It just inspires guilt in me for failing to read the book!

I’ll spare you my singing Chris, i promise 🙂

3 wise men is my current fave on the album although I’m not entirely sure why. It always makes me drift off into very strange religious thoughts, which I probably shouldn’t share publicly!

Oh, now that i could definitely be part of. MUST get Spice Girls for my lot, afterall, i do have almost a full set of Spice Girls of my own.

Fran can be Sporty, Maddy can be Posh, Josie can be (what was Geri, Chubby Spice?) oh no, bugger she was Ginger… (Nic, can you fill a void here?), Josie can be Baby and Amelie can be Scary!
