Of MuddlePuddle and Mail

October 15, 2005 by

I seem now to be being afflicted by a fairly severe attack of email crisis; i’m not sure what it is: Norton, mysterious server problem or possibly Divine Intervention. However, either mails are not getting through that i reply to, or possibly send or possibly in some cases both 🙁 I’m certainly not getting mails from quite a lot of people who then tell me i’ve had them sent to me, so i know i missed out on one password this week for certain. The problem seems to be getting worse and spreading too and i’m more or less reduced to using this as a form of communication now 😡 So erm, this probably counts as a genuine plea for attention; i’ve replied to everything sent, as far as i know and also asked for passwords to anywhere i might normally go but either you aren’t getting the request or i’m not getting the answer. (Or horrors, you don’t want me to read it!) So if you’d be so kind… i’d be ever so grateful.

Otherwise today has been nice; stories, Dinosaur Dominoes (the very first thing i ever made for MP, linked below) Fran and Maddy played a numberbond game, we all tidied and played in the garden, put the rabbits in together and laughed at Smartie learning to bonk , Fran practised skipping for her Agility Badge and made it to 60 consecutive skips, Josie was grumpy and overtired, we googled for how old the sun is, Amelie demonstrated her excellent ability to type her name, i retrieved the pushchair from where i’d left it at Activity World 😳 We all played a lot of noughts and crosses on 😯 bits of paper… with PENS!

I even did my walk for the first time since the park incident, which was a bit scary but i’m glad i faced the demon and did it. See, i’m getting better.

I certainly emailed you about – um – Melrose, I think. And didn’t get a reply. But then I decided I knew the answer anyway.

Ah, just found an email from you in my junk folder – thought it’d stopped doing that! (Also found three from another friend in there from over the summer – no wonder she thought I’d been ignoring her when we chatted recently …)

Right, will send you money, but I still don’t know how much the Melrose deposit is? (Do I know really, am I just being slow?)

If you still want to phone – tomorrow evening would be ok.

Slings – yeah, I’ll have them both back, can probably pass on the Huggababy and the rings from the black one might come in useful one day! Can wait till Okehampton.

think we sorted out our off somewhere in cyber space emails on IM, but I know that at least two other people didn’t get my emails (and this has not been the best of weeks for emails to be going missing really, I think there are enough genuine misunderstandings flying about without people worrying about whether other people are ‘talking’ to them or not!. Nightmare!

And lol to you using paper and pens 🙂
