WHAT a nice house 🙂 I’m a bit worried it’ll be a bit small for them though 😀
I dodged a dental appointment to see them too, so its practically a given i’ll now crack my temporary filling, lol.
Started off this morning to come down and find Fran doing her normals all on her own ; partly because yesterday we had a bit of a chat about not dragging them out, partly because she really enjoys the expendable cash they give her and partly because she REALLY likes the stuff she is doing at the moment. She got all the sums right, effortlessly, did some really beautiful writing and had to be removed from her Explode the Code to go out; she really enjoys that book, i think she is almost half way through Book 3 already. Its excellent for focusing her on some of the tricks of reading and her “guessing” is definitely being replaced with “thinking” now.
She also did a few more necklaces at various times, is doing some now i think as well; she has been thrilled with being able to make her own money. I think todays parcel of Beanies arriving really made her realise she is able to make things happen for herself, she was certainly very delighted with them. Thumbs up also to ForestBookShop who took my payment at 5pm last night and the book (which is perfect for the task) arrived this morning. Maddy’s face lit up at it; going to make a big effort for it to be something that i do with HER predominantly, so she has something special. On the subject of Maddy, noticed today that one of her eyes seems to be wandering inwards slightly. Kirsty, what’s the drill Optician or Doctor? Its not hugely obvious but i am fairly sure its not been there before.
Off to the Beans which was lovely; going to shamelessly steal their bandwidth to bring you this photo 😉
Was lovely t see all the girls have fun; Ammi looks to me like she may eventually lead a Josie and BB trio while SB, Maddy and Fran were virtually inseparable; they all got on as if they were lifelong friends anyway.
Nice drive back on a route i used to do loads via the fens; aside from a random nutter van who drove 2 inches from my bumper through Warboys, it was very pleasant. Do like it out there, shades of happy times. Nice to have friends moving into the location rather than out! Reminds me, i wonder how Mrs Ho-Jo is – must get to see them when i go to Devon.
Right – tomorrow – SOMETHING worthy and educational!!!!
