Itching to spend money.

July 5, 2005 by

Got severe retail therapy-itis, struggling not to spend very badly. I must have hormones gathering i think…. so far i have restricted myself to a book on signing from the bookshop Katy linked to (thanks Katy) but i’m going to have to visit The Bead Shop and possibly Daisy Designs tonight too. Its no good, i can’t resist any further. Not having any method of getting money for myself last week just overwhelmed me i think 😉

Today – well my Summer “rescue” student arrived; she is doing 4 weeks to finish her course as she was ill during the year. So this time i am donig them a favour, lol. As it turns out she works for an Autism support group in town and was HE’d for 4 years and so far seems to be a very nice and capable person. So that is excellent. I let them all get to know each other today while i got rid of the rest of the holiday crud. Spent a bit of time doing normals with Fran (sums were fine today *shakes head* but i think i’ll use all those ideas anyway, so thank you). Maddy stayed at home after being up with a temperature in the night and didn’t want to go to dancing either. I think she might as well drop that, might look into her doing Karate with Sam, if that would suit you Tammy?

Fran has been surfing the net again, making more twiddle necklaces, reading, drawing and playing a lot but other than that, not a lot occurred. Maddy found her Lobster Beanie in the cupboard so she and i spent a bit of time looking at pics on Google of real Lobsters and talking about animals with sheels rather than bones.

MUST plan something useful for the rest of the week.

Edit: Oh THAT is why Josie has been cranky, tooth number 2 is through!
