This was Amelie’s description of her Daddy this weekend when asked by a relative if she loved her Daddy. I assume it was a compliment of sorts anyway…
Busy weekend. Max had a birthday so saturday morning was spent doing a hasty shop out in town with Fran. Actually felt completely spooked to be out with a reading person – the speed and accuracy with which she was reading everyithng kept really taking me by surprise – from “we are now open all week” to shops called “Coral” – suddenly she has a whole new level of questions! In answer to your question Sarah – yes she has improved markedly since we were with you in that she now launches at new words and gets them right but the “Level 7” is not HUGELY different to those other books (which we did get but thank you for the offer) . So Joe is a bit cool really 😀
Got back and headed off to my parents for the weekend – both my brother and isster were there, plus my niece and sisters partner. All very nice and very entertaining – top moment was definitely G’s dp’s classic line “She is CLEARLY taking surreptitious”… lol… how we laughed! Plus of course, Amelie description of Daddy.
Today involved a large family party with people i hadn’t seen for 20 years which was lovely – i was complimented a lot on my lovely girls, who behaved beautifully and had a couple of very psitive conversations about HE too.
