Much worse again today, Max had to take the day off and i spent the day in bed. Eventually, i had to go back into the hospital where they attempted to lance my throat but couldn’t locate it (abscess, not throat). By which point i was just beside myself and so the lovely RAF Dr (enormous ears but nice) wrote up some mega strong codeine for me and let me cry on him for a bit. That’s it, they have to come out, i can’t stand a year of people poking needles into my throat. And if i can fit it in between HESFES and MP, i’ll be really grateful to anyone who wants to come and stay. Basically i’ll need an adult in the house for 2 weeks after in case they haemorrage, a not uncommon event that requires ambulances to hospital. So umm.. roll up, roll up…
No idea what has gone on in the house, Fran didn’t get a lead part in Mary Poppins but still seems to be having fun. She is rather talkative about a boy called Oliver who is 9 and who she chased and tickled today apparently. Hm. Thought Max was going to pop! Its weird having her out all day.
Josie tried solids again today; feeling increasingly anxious about her suddenly having to manage without me so feel i have to get her used to something, even if its just juice and apple puree. Feeling my milk might be a little crappy; i expressed some today (4 days of only toast and hot chocolate) and it looked like dishwater. Ho hum. Mind you, enforced toast diet doing wonders for blob of fat that is my well worn tummy. Don’t suppose Jamie Oliver would approve though.
Only other things of note are Josie learning “muuum…mmm…mmm….” and Maddy being gorgeous. Oh, Ammi has been dry in the day for days now. Go that girl!
