Decided in the end that the Khyam was the most sensible option, more flexibility of space for a family that still needs to grow as much upwards as it has done in number. The one thing that really put me off the Outwell, when i thought about it, was that the bedrooms were of pretty limited use except for sleeping, the pods will be good for sitting in, storing things etc etc. Well, there were two things; having to get up in the night and cross a cold middle section to deal with any problems was another one.
We’ve bought the bigger version so that hopefully i can fit me and all the girls into one pod (3 metres of space so i think i should be able too), one pod and a groundsheet for that and under the bedroom. We’ll probably get another pod (or a bedroom to use in the porch area, but probably another pod) in time for summer camping when me, Max and Josie can share and the bigger 3 girls can have a room of their own. Hopefully though, HESFES will be a tad warmer with all 5 of us in one bit this year.
I’m so excited, must send off the HESFES form now!!! Blooming hope its as easy to put up as it says it is.
Thanks, Chris, for the bit of handholding at the end there!
