ARGH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

March 5, 2005 by

Oh dear, WP already had “Argh!” as a flip down possible title to a post.

Amelie’s tantrums have now reached mammoth proportions. She has had 5 since this time last night, pretty much entirely directed at Max. Once i take over she gives up pretty fast, which presumably means she knows i’m too much of a bitch to pander to it. Yesterday evenings was over which light bulb was on in their room, the 2am one was over god knows what, this mornings was over the fact that Max was drinking orange juice and she doesn’t like orange juice, we’ve just had one over dinner and then the fact that she got stuck trying to wriggle downwards through a top and so we took it off over her head. She put herself back in it, got stuck again and then lay screaming on the floor till we helped her get it off downards. Then she had another over which hand i carried her milk upstairs.

All this is depressingly reminiscent of the type Maddy used to have, though tbh, Amelie is just a prize PITA as opposed to Maddy-like, i know she isn’t like Maddy. But i’m downright bored of having to carry kicking screaming chiildren away from onlookers and hold them down till they calm themselves. Which appears to be all that works for Amelie – lying her on her bed and hold the duvet each side of her body, looking into her eyes and saying “That is enough” – works in about 30 seconds from me, Max can’t get her to stop at all. She is so trying it on with him, little rotter. I’m so bored of listening to a perpetual screaming, incoherent wail – she used to be able to ask for things, these days Max and i can hardly understand her due to the hysterical shriek she does everything at :~(

I dunno, she’s a trying child at times.

Nothing else has occurred today, I took the big two for new shoes and trainers (Fran in her last Doodles i think, she is now a 12 1/2; Maddy is an 11.) £75 was the grand total – had to get decent trainers as Fran has got some sort of a thing on the outer edge of her foot from cheap ones :~( They’ve all been out to Great Gran’s this afternoon – Maddy got a lovely chinese outfit as a pressie; photo below in a minute with Fran modelling the jamas from Jules.

Not a great photo, hmmm…. nice jamas though! Will fit nicely with the Mulan2 induced request for a China project though!
