Well Josie has green gunge coming out of one eye and i, after a rather hazy day, have suddenly realized i’ve got tonsilitis. Marvellous. Oh well.
Fortunately, the girls were quite good today – Maddy did her Egyptian sticker book, Fran made hama frogs with the new boards, Ammi had some stories and discovered she likes riding on the back of Mario Karts in the co-op version – so now she doesn’t feel left out anymore. Josie slept half the day and my guess is she doesn’t feel all that great. She’s got an awful cough and cold.
Still, we’ve had Ark stories, and Harold the Great srories and some William Blake poetry and i’ve just wrestled Troy into a version of German with the English soundtrack to it, so i’ve watched that. Enjoyed it too actually. Now where have i seen that Hector bloke before? Did seem a little LOTR ish though… the mark of the epics of the 60’s was huge casts of extras, the mark of what came next was goodness knows what, the mark of the 21st Century is huge casts of computer generated extras.
Must try to feel better tomorrow.
