Our EWO has just phoned.
He seemed very pleasant until he asked to arrange a visit. I said i didn’t want a visit, but had prepared a report for him with examples of the type of thing we do and have done over the last year.
At which point he said that without coming to my house and talking to Frances and seeing the type of work she did, he couldn’t make a decision on whether she could stay out of school. I offered him the choice of my house to talk to me, without the children or at Activity World, where he could see Fran but she wouldn’t have to sit and chat if she didn’t want to.
Neither would do, apparently i know from my letter last year that i WILL be having a visit and that it has to be done and basically i’ve got to do it their way. I suppose i did “agree” to a visit back then but i did say that Fran might not be there.
I guess that means there is no improvement in our EWO then… any suggestions?
