Something i’ve found really useful is my cm planner over the last few months. I like it because i don’t pontificate, its JUST stuff i cover/want to do/want to keep an eye on us covering. Its made me feel pretty good on tough weeks just to be able to put those asterisks against things. I know full well it wouldn’t be for everyone but for me, with LEA in toe, its been low level record keeping or brain check that i’ve liked. But i do quite like keeping it pure CM, so i can go back and see what i want to do again or do differently as other girls reach the age Fran is. maddy listens in but i anticipate re-doing a fair bit of this later with her. I think a lot of it goes over her head.
I’m worrying, in short moments, about Maddy and Amelie and how much one to one time they get, so i’m thinking that alongside this planner, i’ll have one thing i want to aim to do at least once with each child every week. I’ll do it for Fran too but really i’m more concerned with this servicing a need the younger two have. It doesn’t fit on the CM planner, so i’m going to put it here, in its own category. But you can ignore it. I’ll see if it works.
Amelie: Play meaningfully with shape dominos.
Maddy: Start on counting section of Miquon with rods.
Fran: DWN – reptile section, one drawing.
I’m hoping that if i can jsut aim to have one small thing each week that each girl can call purely their own time with me, it shouldn’t be too daunting.
