Not too bad, considering the state Maddy was already in by this time last year. So far she has washed her hands often enough to make the skin split open, a new departure but not horrific. At least not horrific yet. Her hair has two horns where she has twiddled it short, a slightly comic look if i’m honest and her hand is bleeding around where she sucks her thumb. But… she seems in good spirits and quite honestly, if we can keep her walking talking, eating and sleeping this year, it will be a job well done. I was just looking back at last January and remembering this child
– what this picture didn’t really adequately describe was that beyond Boxing Day, that was virtually all she did, sit completely mute on the floor and obsessively make the same models over and over. She has changed a lot in this year.
I’d say its helped to do lots of Xmas warm up this year, plenty of making and doing crafts and so on. But time will tell. If in three days time she is glued to The Snowman repeatedly then, well.. lol…
And no, i haven’t done the scrapbooks.
