If you haven't got a penny, a hankerchief will do..

December 19, 2004 by

At least, that is the lyric according to my daughters and neither rhyme, reason or bludgeoning will change them. I do like our Xmas music cd though – its the Jingle Bells one from KidsMusic

They are back, after a delicious weekend away :~)

(Possibly TMI coming up!) And lucky them, because i have PMT, or actually just MT, which is grossly unfair, given i am fully feeding a 6 week old. Bah humbug. *lol* Still, at least i have a reason for the water retention, fat feeling and killer headache. Mildly amused that on discovering said event, i initially came to the conclusion that my scar has mysteriously started to burst open and started to bleed internally. Clearly its been a while!

Anyway, nothing educational to report at all. But the tree is up, the camera is still dodgy, the cards are posted, the prsents wrapped and bought and only 5 big and important ones to make. BM has been quiet, which was a shame as i was hoping for a last minute burst but i guess i have the same issues as the rest of the highstreet. House is fairly tidy, my bead cupboard has moved to a more convenient location, Josie is STILL hungry. Max and i watched “Cold Mountain” which i enjoyed despite its dodgy and very stilted start. Would probably have preferred the book though. I got to see little Rowan, who has been shortened to Rosie, producing all sorts of complex pronunciation difficulties ‘Ro-zee’ and ‘Jo-see’ – drives me nuts when people say ‘Jo-zee’ but its hard not to when you say two names that are so suimilar in one breath!

Got a busy week coming up but cautiously optimistic about Maddy at the moment, see seems to be quite happy about Xmas at the moment. Really looknig forward to Xmas at home i have to say.

So… how do you do this again?

Merry Christmas everyone!
