Simple Pimple.

I can do this… i can do this… at least i can when there are two of us. Tomorrow should be interesting. The poop has hit the whirly thing at Max’s work and he has to go in for the whole day tomorrow – and i don’t have any back up – so tomorrow its the real thing. Gulp. I’m a bit annoyed i’m being sacrified for mere work really – but he has been so great about everything i don’t want to put him under pressure. I daresay we will cope. Today wasn’t super hard with 2 of us – i’ll just employ Disney-ed tomorrow!

Josie is just sleeping great still and today she went through till 12pm so i got lots done with Fran this morning. Zoe was here too and made more Pudsey biscuits ready to sell at college tomorrow. The girls have loved doing it and we had an interesting chat about charities and what they do last night. Which added to the conversation about the neutrality of Switzerland the night before when we read about Arnold Winkelried means i feel i have covered current affairs/politics for the week ;~)

Fran did yet more fab reading and writing and then played a LOT of Zoombinis which she has got really good at. Maddy did a fair bit of that too and Ammi monopolised Zoe and did some colouring etc. She is great at counting too – easily gets up to ten and does it with meaning too and today she made me read something to her by asking “What does that say?” which i thought showed promise :~) She, Maddy and i spent a long time sat on the floor doing the Life Cycle jigsaws and one Maddy has of butterflies etc from GummyLump. So that was really nice. I should sit on the floor more – when i do i feel good for getting down to their level and then i forget how much they love me for it again.

After lunch Zoe did icing biscuits with them and then we used the Art Ideas book to come up with a potato printing activity – Zoe did it all and they had a lovely time. They are upstairs now washing poster paints out of their clothes and they have been gone a LOOOOONG time – its sounds fun… but wet… up there!!!

Last night we read about David and Goliath – i have a sticker book on that story i shall have to get out tomorrow. A David and Goliath activity day perhaps tomorrow… hmmm… do i risk making slings…..?
