Its probably a good job…
,… that blogger ate this mornings miserable and self pitying post. I shan’t reblog it.
Today. Well thank goodness for Kate and Zoe really. Kate arrived, mopped me up, brought biscuits and then took the big two off skating for a couple of hours. She really is a great friend, i have lots of great friends but it is nice to have the odd one who is close by. My girls do get the benefit of her situation and while i just hope and hope she gets a better chance at having her own active family, i really appreciate the input we get from her.
Zoe was here too and she and Ammi had a lovely time – then we got out the Fairy Book of Things to Make and Do and she spent the whole afternoon entertaining them from the craft cupboard. They had a ball. Crowns, wands, puppets… the lot. Zoe, you saved the day today my girl.
Crowns…
Close up crowns…
Action Ammi….
Glinda the Good Witch.
Just been in to be monitored again. Baby is still SO comfy. The midwife i saw was in theatre when Ams was born, i like her. The trace was perfect but oddly enough i was having quite noticeable uterine action (up to 50 on the monitor for anyone who has ever been attached to one.. not that most of you probably know what they look like!), completely regular and i just couldn’t really feel it. But i know perfectly well i have felt them at that level before. Actually, they are happening now and i CAN feel them a bit; lets hope its finally getting going. Anyway, this particular midwife was very supportive, made me much happier. 12 days over is JUST quite enough for me. This last 2 weeks has completely put me off EVER doing this again!
