No babies yet.

But i did have a jolly nice weekend. BIL, SIL and their two girls stayed (I being between Fran and Maddy in age and M being 6 weeks younger than Ammi) and everytone had a lovely time. The girls all got on brilliantly, especially while playing with the enormous pony boxes and they also had a trip out to Burghley. I was feeling horribly rough and had to sleep in and also had another long false start last night (which hurt a LOT and had me seriously considering that section again!) Mind you, it had been a long day and i was tired. SIL and i got a chance for a long gossip though which was lovely; she and i are a typical lark/owl combination so we rarely manage late night or early morning chats. It was nice to feel like we had a chance to mull over some of the things that have become major differences in our lives over the last few years. (Not i hasten to add, differences in agreement or friendship, just work v home mum school v HE type stuff where perhaps its harder to see where we are each coming from because life is so different.) So all in all , a great weekend.

Last night Max’s cousin got married so we took all the kidlets over to the reception where they danced the night away with the bride and groom.

And today we went to Essex, right to the area where i spent the first 5 years of my life, to collect the infeasible number of Motorsport magazines, thereby giving the new car a good run. I DO love having a car that you can move around in during traffic jams :~) It makes dishing out emergency pull ups MUCH easier! We accidently ended up in the East End in the area my mum and dad grew up so between all the names like Ilford and Gants Hill and then Chelmsford and Romford, i feel like i have been down a very odd sort of memory lane.

Man, i’m going to be glad when this baby makes an entrance now, its got a seriously big bottom!
